«Stop Е40!»Video clip

On July 19, 2017 the public campaign “Stop E40” https://stope40.org/ru/pages/about was launched in Minsk against the construction of the E40 waterway, which is to pass along the rivers of Poland, Belarus and Ukraine. A significant part of it falls on the Belarusian Polesye and the Pripyat, one of the least damaged by man rivers in Europe. Bahna is part of the environmental coalition that took the lead of the campaign. For the purpose of a press conference, the activists have prepared an informative video clip revealing the significance of the Pripyat River for Polesye, as well as the potential risks of the construction of the E40 waterway.

The video clip was named third best in the contest of short documentary videos dedicated to wetlands at the 9th meeting of the Ramsar Convention in 2018, and was awarded a special diploma at the exhibition of innovative journalistic works “Belarusian Journalism — Focus on Innovation”, organised by Press Club Belarus.
